The world as we know it is dissolving and shifting towards new mechanisms and unsettling landscapes. The past is fading away. The present is disintegrating. Plotlines remain vague, and the future is searching in vain for an author.
These images chronicle my state of mind during this weird spell. They are a play with the realities encountered while travelling. They expose shadows and trace blurred and oblique lines and borders at the edge-lands of an era. They reflect the increasing blur between the fake and the tangible, an impaired environment, the quixotic weight of religions and technologies; a kind of hollowness as well.
Some of those photographs are staged most are not, but disquietude, raw or in disguise, is incised in all of them.
